the above is posted without context but it is a trivial fork of Twitch Adblock that removes Pepes it added to the UI a couple days ago. i may or may not eventually bother to put it in the Mozilla Add-Ons website
sorry quick fix; original mistakenly linked to upstream in the extension UI. that has been fixed in https://github.com/single-right-quote/VideoAdBlockForTwitchNoPepe/releases/tag/v5.5.2-prerelease

if updating to synapse 1.70.x breaks your homeserver, try updating typing_extensions to at least 4.1.0.
pip install --upgrade typing_extensions
ought to do the trick
i do not know if you will need to run that with superuser permissions (i did because i am silly (you really do not want to sudo pip when you can manage it))
