somebody ported neko to windows back in 2010 and having installed and run it on my laptop, i felt instant nostalgia for an era of computing that’s just not a thing anymore

@manifold oh i just mean i studied for an exam and that made me have to learn various APIs i don’t use directly during my job (and a couple i do) and there are many very frustrating details out just Weird Bullshit and i’m not a fan
the standardized APIs suck absolute shit
becoming a Certified Professional has made me like Java less
