becoming a Certified Professional has made me like Java less
@aescling time to pivot to ruby
@aescling being a professional makes anything you regularly work in or around feel worse unless you're very lucky about the structure of where you work (bc all corporate Java things or all corporate code generally will eat your soul)
this is my opinion anyhow
@manifold oh i just mean i studied for an exam and that made me have to learn various APIs i don’t use directly during my job (and a couple i do) and there are many very frustrating details out just Weird Bullshit and i’m not a fan
