@monorail that’s what i understood, but i cannot yet find where it actually does this in the codebase

current task: where the fuck does the glitch-soc code actually determine if a post is local only

re: vegan food cooking update 3: tasting

@packbat look i just, really love bread,

re: vegan food cooking update 3: tasting

@packbat thankkkklkkkkkkk -nomnomnom-

re: realization re: vegan food cooking update 3: tasting

@packbat just note that avacado oil is relatively expensive tho

@Lady big example on my mind is THPS1+2, whose physical copy got has a day one update that greatly improves performance

and also is like, 10 gigs i think

@chosafine i know for LCD displays you get effective input lag from ghosting of the previous frame in large parts of the screen before they all get updated; idk if more frames will reduce this ghosting or make it worse (because you leave a ghost from half a frame prior instead of a full one)

re: realization re: vegan food cooking update 3: tasting

@packbat avacado oil tastes surprisingly buttery if you want that flavor

olive oil is very nice in some contexts; i’m a fan of the result

wonder if nut oils would be interesting in bread?

also new switch games are cheaper as physical copies from amazon than as downloads from the nintendo store or whatever they call it

when it comes to physical copies of games, i honestly don’t know if my fear of when impermanence is really justified or not, given that CDs and shit can and do Just Break while digital copies can be redistributed losslessly

but just like. man. i like it physical
