attempting our first kneaded loaf of bread using https://www.marystestkitchen.com/perfect-vegan-french-bread/ as a recipe
dunno if we did it right but kneading turned out to be less stressful or strenuous than we feared, and we have a ... taut? ball of dough currently in an oiled bowl for its rise

(used straight coconut oil as our butter substitute)

gave it an hour to rise - not sure how to judge if it doubled, but it definitely got bigger
divided into loaves and put on a baking sheet for final rise and then baking
