@vaporeon_ @monorail (etymologically, that means the same thing as speedometer, but what you're measuring the speed of is very diffurent)

@vaporeon_ @monorail it measures how many revolutions purr minute (RPM) the motor is going through, in units of thousands

apparently the term fur this kind of gague is “tachometer”. i may have known that years ago

@coriander i mean, i fully hold that player frustration is a valid emotional response to want to elicit in a game, but in a series like animal crossing it should purrobably be quite deemphasized

@coriander i definitely remember either playing through or witnessing (or both!) me or one of my siblings losing an item they really wanted from a villager dialogue lol

i miss when animal crossing was ever so occasionally just a little bit hostile. villagers could and would steal your shit right out of your pockets

@Breakfast @aescling Aescling, LOOK AT THIS, there are your two favourite Veevees: f0xlett.tumblr.com/post/758475

Looking through all these posts right now because the art style is so cute

@vaporeon_ i envy anybody with the self confidence and job security to act like that in a purrofessional setting
