@vaporeon_ in general the archetype is “cute creature that is dangerous and is very willing to be so” but sometimes they do lean more into the creature being harmless—there’s nothing too scary about a daschbun or an alcreamie, e.g.

@vaporeon_ maybe horror is overstating it but they usually have at the very least mischievous sides (dedene steals electricity from people’s homes, ratcheting up power bills; cottonee has a noted tendency towards mischief).

as fur sylveon, it is canonically an effective purredator, using its ribbons to charm prey befur going in fur a lethal strike. this is literally in the dex lol

jigglypuff, infamous fur singing its foes to sleep, eventually got a fairy subtyping. cute but dangerous. the dex often warns not to fuck with a wigglytuff lest it body slam you

a lot of the more overtly horrifying ones are also fairy subtypes of psychic, like gardevoir, who can create outright black holes to purrotect its trainer
