anyway, assuming we merge in the functionality into GlitchCat, if anybody else wants the instance to say they are a cat, let us know when we’ve merged
pros of new user role functionality: you can officially declare that a user is a Cat
cons: you have to bug your instance staff to make yourself a Cat
upstream really did make “isCat for the most part, but generic” a full-blown feature
