@vaporeon_ there is not a single pokémon that is not at least a little bit terrifying if you think about it
@wallhackio @aescling I do not know what "Rain World" is, but I would like to play the other side of this game, being a dangerous Vaporeon who makes sure that the human player doesn't survive
@vaporeon_ @aescling https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-XUBIUn_zM&t=32s in Rain World you are a just a little guy. and you die a lot in a sorts of horrific ways. the art and music are beautiful and it has some of the most unfair bullshit difficulty i have ever seen in a videogame. it was really good
@vaporeon_ @aescling the creature you play as is called a "Slugcat"
@wallhackio @vaporeon_ i mean, you could make that game where you play as a small pokémon the whole time. like a in rattata or something. might work better that way
@aescling @wallhackio Eevee?
Or is Eevee too big?
@vaporeon_ @wallhackio eevee is purrobably a purredator (its evolutions mostly definitely are) and rain world is about being a prey animal in a hostile world
@vaporeon_ @wallhackio also yeah the player character in rain world is much smaller than an eevee
@aescling @wallhackio How small they?
Here's a list of Pokémon by size, but I don't know what size to look for... https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_height
@aescling @wallhackio Oh! I totally missed the point then, I just saw "small Pokémon" and thought "Eevee is rather small..."
Eevee might be hunted by larger Pokémon, though...
@aescling @vaporeon_ this is the way
@aescling @vaporeon_ i believe that the average trainer has decent odds of defending themselves physically against a caterpie and that's about the extent of it
@aescling @vaporeon_ I would love a pokemon survival game where the pokemon live in a dynamic ecosystem Rain World-style and are extraordinarily hostile and dangerous to the player
