Fitness and binding ask

@SocialGaff often a looser binder (say, two sizes up from what they usually wear) will still get you a relatively flat look without nearly as intense compression — I ended up just sticking with the larger size for pretty much everything after getting used to how much more comfortable it is (and easier to get on and off) but it works as a “just for more active days” thing also

if they are feeling noticeably short of breath i would *definitely* not ignore that while binding — take a break and see if you can get your breath back and if that doesn’t happen relatively quickly, or your lungs still feel inflamed after (any of: breathing feels weird, coughing, phlegm, compression feels “tighter” than normal) try to get the binder off as soon as possible.

re: food

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio well i have never seen meatloaf served sliced up with each slice individually fried but perhaps thats because we have scrapple and the rest of the country is doing breakfast meatloaf like that

food

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio its somewhat like spam except rather than being mostly meat its meat mixed with cornmeal. excellent if you’re a broke farmer who grows corn and are trying to make your limited meat supply go further, or if you’re a pork butcher stuck with all the random scraps from carving out the good cuts and wanna serve it then as a dish instead of a plate full of scraps

@Betty 1) its tasty 2) some people have a thing about overly refined sugar processes and view maple syrup, which has all the not sucrose left in as more “wholesome” 3) new england just has a lotta weirdly intense pride about their maple syrup and sometimes that manifests through baking

@wallhackio @aschmitz minimally 2 banana, a couple tablespoons of tasty pb, and some milk (cow or otherwise) will do you. I also like to add choco flavored protein powder sometimes, or cinnamon. Yoghurt (1/2 c?) is good too

I'm mad at Delta Airlines

@twistylittlepassages yeah unfortunately being difficult is the only option sometimes :/

@wallhackio if the food is freezable it can be preserved longer than a week, allowing you to eat soup now and the other food later

I'm mad at Delta Airlines

@twistylittlepassages oof thats rough! she may be able to get better vouchers (or even sometimes a flight) if she goes in person to complain but like, going in person to complain is the woooooorst so

@ryfulets ooh yeah rancho gordo has so many delicious beans! big fan of the black caviar lentils also, if you haven’t tried them

@wallhackio someone else commented that it didnt trivialize civilian deaths like a lot of superhero flicks do these days so thats another vote in its favor
