@Betty yeah too easy to talk yourself into going “okay but aunt so-and-so wasn’t really asking us to bury her flipping the bird with a sign that says ‘rest in piss tom’”

@Betty unfortunately the real question is “would your relatives actually do it while mourning your death” which does seem to be a bit of a sticking point

@ImpudentStrumpet i often just resort to the suboptimally long “parent’s siblings”

@Anke @vicorva yeah i think the cataloguing was all done after the fact, not as part of the world building process, such as it is

@purplecoww i’m glad its working for you! your squares so far look great :D

@purplecoww the upside of granny squares is if you decide to bail on your original project you still have a bunch of completed squares which can be used for something smaller!

food/weight

@purplecoww its good to remember they were well intentioned, but you deserve expressions of care that don’t hurt you <3

food/weight

@purplecoww 🫂 yeah that was super insensitive, sorry you had to deal w/it

@Forestofglory have fun!! and i hope you can pick up some nice things

@MindmeshLink @Packbat i was in a similar boat — i have all the html i use regularly memorized, but i also rarely try to do anything too complicated (i write out all the html in my blogposts by hand, but i’m not like designing full webpages from scratch?)

@OldBrushNewPaper good! we just moved so we are still a bit tired and discombobulated, but things are getting to be unpacked and organized enough to be functional
