I’ve also used tooot (yes 3 o’s) in the past which is free as well — i stopper bc of a timeline bug i think? but it was a while ago so v well may have been fixed by now

@celli@octodon.social @asya there are a lot of factors that can effect whether you get sick from an exposure & how sick you get so its difficult to isolate the effects of just one but there does seem to be a correlation in some diseases bc a lower initial load gives your body more lead time to build up a response. Not really something to count on—whether or not you’ve been vaccinated matters a *lot* more for example but once you’re already sick may as well take every scrap of hope you can get, right?
