@pagrus on the flipside, my girlfriend was just complaining about someone on fedi yesterday and i had absolutely zero idea who they were talking about so. there are definitely some overlapping but distinct circles that i’m in apparently 😆

THAT SAID most other awards do not claim to be unbiasedly representing the entire genre of science fiction globally which definitely makes it a lot more irritating when they do it

@naye i’m glad you’re enjoying mastodon! it’s been nice having more of my fandom circle around fedi this last year or so—it was still a nice place when i joined back in 2017 but the fannish side of things was so *quiet*
i feel you on the multi account struggle though—here, discord, and DW is just about all i can manage
