If i’m willing to put enough energy in to paying attention i *can* get enough to follow but like, trying to listen to a podcast while I fold laundry? Impossible (and what audio thing is interesting enough to be worth 110% of my focus?)

@hafnia@weirder.earth @twistylittlepassages @pagrus if we had had tv i probably wouldnt have watched much anyway since i dont do great with auditory comprehension. But yeah I’ve never lived in a house with cable (or an antenna/whatever)

@twistylittlepassages @hafnia@weirder.earth @pagrus i am also in the ‘no tv’ kid! It’s much easier to get away with nowadays, since it seems like every one of my acquaintances uses a different streaming service. But yeah very awkward at times when I was in school

@hafnia@weirder.earth theres a room in the education building labeled “BIOHAZARD Authorized Personnel Only” and I’ve always wondered what kind of interdisciplinary nonsense led to a biohazard lab being built in a building thats otherwise entirely classrooms and offices
