@alyssa i think its partly that the farming peasantry getting pissed is a reliable way to end a dynasty, in which case agrarian reform is crucial to the new one making it past the 1 year mark

@rigormorphis and also the parallels between the US’s behavior and all the shit the media / other countries should not have let them get away with that was facilitated by that stripping of context…

@rigormorphis I did go a little insane for a moment when they just dropped «the BBC, like many other media organisations, treated the horror of the attacks like "a 9/11 event"» but overall it was a very solid article

@kate i feel like a braid crowns would grow out uncomfortably in more extended naps

@djsundog our sun is so densely hidden behind clouds that it’s impossible to tell where it is in the sky, only that it’s probably not yet night

@edebill thought you meant the car for a second and it was producing some fantastical mental images

@wallhackio personally i do think of knives as a cooking tool that is sometimes used for baking and a whisk as a baking tool that is sometimes used for cooking

@wallhackio after extensive interviews with the subject i have determined that they think cooking skills/tools are a subset of baking skills/tools but from a recipe/dish perspective baking is a subset of cooking

fictional pretend-sibling kink and explicit sex (mdzs, jzx/jyl)

@soph_sol @MDZSKinkPromptBot love this for them, and especially Yanli-jie

@murz this is phrased assuming a romantic relationship but almost all of the points also apply to abusive parents, bosses, housemates, etc. there are also methods of abuse not listed here of course, but its a good starting point

@vaporeon_ i didnt get to see it either, too cloudy here

I believe it was supposed to have been visible in Canada, the northern us, Iceland, Greenland, & northern Europe (Sweden, Finland, Norway, & the bit of russia right next to them) on the 11th but local weather conditions and irregularities within the solar storm both could have affected visibility for any particular spot in those regions. Since then its been fainter and consequently even spottier

@vaporeon_ i am also making many typos today maybe we can blame the aurora

@platypus seriously i HATE when they decide to insert text like that because every time they stop the brain music my brain goes “oh someone picked up finally” and cues up its full paying attention to this conversation auditory processing powers. And then its just the same hold phrase repeated again and by the 20th time i’m exhausted

image desc re:lb

@pomological a botanical painting of a satsuma orange, which is depicted as squat and blotchy green on the outside, and a vivid red on the inside but otherwise looks roughly as you’d expect a small orange or tangerine to be

@campbell i imagine its probably mostly “okay but there WAS supposed to be there and i forgot to look if he was anywhere near where he was supposed to be” but considering how that last field goal in the packers game went anything’s possible really
