@lookitmychicken ahhh i love the big marmalade jars of ginger yuzu tea stuff!

tho the nearest asian grocery doesn’t sell it, so i’ve been making do with the powdered ginger tea packets instead

@junebug i think theres still room for weird parabola stuff and more areas at zee but yeah it definitely feels like a very effective end cap

@platypus we’re already closed! but we only got a delay last time when you got a closure so

@pixelcats oh no! I hope you and your gma are both able to stay healthy

@rowyn me, hiding behind the fourth wall at that last line

@soph_sol on the bright side, it means enough people were interested in all of those things for it to make it through the initial noms/vote? But as the trans characters tag shows, you can get stuck in that limbo for years afterwards

@soph_sol oof it got put up against two other seriously under-recced categories too. Hopefully they can get successful reruns at some point also

@rowyn I’m sure Umbral would have preferred that Ellie wasn’t there at least 😆

@coreo its so comforting and nourishing, esp in cold weather like this

@coreo i have made soup for dinner 3 days in a row now 😆

@pagrus i once ended up in group where there was someone who had my personal name *and* someone who had my family name as a given name…fortunately I already had a well established usename which was neither but it was still quite odd

@soph_sol that study is interesting though, if totally unhelpful 😆

@soph_sol love stumbling across an edit war in real time 😆

do they have citations for both?

@hobiis it wouldn’t be strange to find some double (200 words) or triple (300 words) drabbles in a drabble collection but i would assume 1) the individual multi drabbles in question would labeled as such and 2) all the fics would be multiples of 100 give or take a few words to account for software word counting differences

so many other established terms if you just want to mean “short” including short! but also flash fiction (<1500 words) one shot (length flexible but constrained to a single scene), micro fiction (these days I often see <500 characters but “under 100 words” is also a common definition), tweetfic (originally composed as a tweet, with requisite character limit attached)
