@montag somewhat disappointed that i don’t have a warrior cats instance to point to

@Betty see the problem with keeping all the kids focussed on you is that then they aren’t focussed on keeping track of their jackets and bags. At least two kids dropped something in the main lobby and didn’t notice for aaaages

Kim either double booked himself and never showed up (juggling an idol schedule is difficult enough on its own without adding sekrit mafia jobs to the list!) or is in the bathroom panicking because they’re so SMALL and now he’s having feelings

@Betty porsche would over estimate everyones ability to keep track of their own bags and by the time he course corrects its Too Late

Absolute champ at handling crying kids though

@Betty agreed that i would trust him with a classroom full of children tho

@Betty hmm i mean he does end up involved in a lot of key plot points! but not in a way that gives him much Main Character Energy its true

@Betty absolutely 😆 how dare someone try to make him be responsible in public? NHS being a role model in front of *children*???

@Betty firmly believe NHS *could* do it, but would? absolutely not

met gala explanation if you want

@twistylittlepassages yeah thats about my feelings as well—i’d rather put my attention as far as critiquing the clothing/beauty industry towards like, fast fashion or sweatshop labor or ads convincing women they need to wear concealer because no one can know you have skin! then an event which happens once a year and is benefitting from some of those systems ultimately pretty tangental to their existence

met gala explanation if you want

@twistylittlepassages the met gala is an annual fundraiser for the met’s Costume Institute—the publicity & close coverage of everyones outfits means that a high end fashion house can drop a couple hundred thousand on sending brand ambassadors (celebrities) as advertising

so like, its extremely Rich People Conspicuous Consumption Shit but also ad money gets spent on *far* worse things on a daily basis than funding a p cool museum so whatever

Disordered eating

@pixouls group dinners/lunches/etc are also so bad for COVID accessibility right now too — i know food is a good way to get people to show up but its really frustrating when every event picks the same format that excludes you

@asya ahh the algo does not give me nearly as good recs, i have to rely on playlists

@asya ooooh yes that is an A+ combo, snooze does almost feel like a response

Bilbo Baggins made me trans so I’m making him trans
