@telepathypiper yes there’s lots of options! my preference is tooot (yes, 3 o’s) which probably has the most minimalist interface out of the iOS apps available right now (which i personally appreciate, tho if you prefer lots of pretty animations and such maybe try toot! or metatext instead?)

my best guess is that its a reply from an instance your server has silenced (a sort of middle ground between full federation and full defederation, where you can follow people on the other server and they can follow you but their follows get turned into follow requests and replies from people you don’t know on that server are auto-hidden). I wish the silencing feature could be improved a bit, bc as it currently stands it can be a bit confusing in situations like this

i’m not expecting anything like archival fidelity out of ao3, but surely over ten errors in the first 20 fics is a bit much?

meanwhile the pair of fics that i was getting like a hundred ghost visits a week for in december have slowed down quite a bit, but one is still on the front page of my history page nonetheless

don’t think i’ve seen this bug before but the three most recent entries in my history rn are all these zero recorded visit-types

they are all fics i read on the date in question but they should not be my most recent three — they’re missing every single fic i opened today or yesterday but didn’t mark for later (and i know i was logged in bc i commented on a few of them! and got notifs for the replies and everything)
