@platypus yeah this is why i continue to buy apple hardware despite not loving everything they do -- their hardware generally lasts me 7+ years and it's hard to find that anywhere else (my phone from 2016 was still in great condition when I upgraded earlier this month, I think my last laptop was 2013 and if Zoom wasn't such a bloated monster of a program I would have happily kept using it for another few years)

@alpine_thistle @LovesTha @ljwrites peoples parents giving them wine is generally legal here too -- you can't buy alcohol or drink it in public but consumption in your own residence is fine

I get emails from her bank sometimes but fortunately they’re only the like, advertising other services/letting you know our hours have changed bc covid emails and not her monthly statement or anything important
