hey @wallhackio, if you were forced to tf into a ground type, which would it be?

@aescling do I keep my consciousness completely intact or do I acquire the mental capacity of whatever pokemon I am turned into?

@aescling am I stuck this way forever or am I doing it for fun?

@Lady @wallhackio i’m trying to tell twin to stop being so autistic about this scenario but the nefarious devil interpretation is more fun so we’ll go with that now

@Lady @wallhackio *walks up to u and lifts its arms up cutely fur uppies, with nefarious intent*

@aescling @Lady see if I can't turn back and I lose my consciousness that is no meaningfully different from dying. But if I keep my consciousness and permanently tf and I probably would rather die

So what I would do on whether there are ground type pokemon that are like Mewtwo in the sense that they can think and hold conversations and whether or not this is permanent

@wallhackio @aescling there are three flavour of ground type pokémon: godzilla, little guy, and whale

@wallhackio @aescling imagine making a decision based on real practical considerations instead of just picking whichever one you think has the most fuckable aesthetic

@Lady @wallhackio @aescling generally i think the whole “originally pokemon and humans were no different from eachother” thing implies that either pokemon generally have the same intelligence as humans and just different priorities that causes them to express that intelligence in ways we dont immediately recognize/understand OR pokemon intentionally self bimbofied themselves at some point for some reason (maybe trading “normal” intelligence for the ability to do pokemon moves, thats gotta take up a lotta brain and energy capacity)

@Satsuma @wallhackio @aescling learning to talk takes up two move slots but speaking telepathically seems to be fine, which implies the difficulty is in fine motor control and not language

Follow

@aescling @Lady @wallhackio so pokemon probably can’t tie a knot in a cherry stem huh
