literally i do not think i have ever read a male character say “no” of his own account and not out of some misguided sense of duty or responsibility towards the other party
women never know what they want and set too many boundaries but men must always respect them, even when they are ill-advised and the women later change their minds; it's very important to demonstrate this
men on the other hand never need to set boundaries; why would they, women should get to press and tease them as much as they like
