@aescling since you asked a bit ago, after having one for a bit i think the kobo libra 2 is a fine cheap ereader wot is not made by amazon
there are aspects of it which are clearly budget (no 5G wifi support lol) but if all you need is to drop some fanfiction epubs via USB-C and read them, it does the trick; the candlelight tinting at night is nice; the touchscreen is not obtrusive and the buttons are good
i like locking it into landscape mode with justified text and big margins; helps accommodate for the smaller size

this is a very usable website unlike anything google has invented since the advent of material design
for us technologists, remember that while the current iteration of the war against sex workers is fought digitally, it is a problem that originates long before our current era and is deeper than just the technology platforms that mediate online communication and commerce.
