@coriander like poison ivy is not a good idea. as a character, she is conceptually overwrought and cliché. but you can tell some good stories with poison ivy
magneto is a great concept but half of the stories involving him are ass

the concept of the everyman did way more damage to American storytelling than the three-act structure
