@coriander lots of interesting concepts, none of them fully fleshed out was the sense i gathered

anyway wild to project a religion which is actively anticipating apocalypse onto one which says time and time again “the apocalypse is bad and we must prevent it”
(zelda is not actually a christ figure as she does not die for anyone’s sins, she victoriously defeats satan in holy battle, WHICH IS WHY THE CHRISTIANITY METAPHOR MAKES NO SENSE, but if you were GOING to pick a christ figure…)
the especially funny thing is that nobody ever picks up on the obvious parallels between zelda of skyward sword and jesus so it's not even a christianity founded in anything real
always bothers me when people write hylian religion like it is christianity

@aschmitz that’s definitely true on phones, but it seems to be the case on desktop OS’s as well, especially as it seems APFS changes which filenames it considers valid depending on Unicode version, and i don’t see them upgrading APFS in a minor OS release
i don’t actually care about the emoji so much (they would be nice to have, don’t get me wrong), but there are some non‐emoji characters in Unicode 16 i’ve been waiting for for a while and would really like to have
