@aescling well technically not yet but they were going to (by adding new flags to RegExp which i did not know how to handle)
i patched it so that they cannot so easily

i’m on this dude’s blog because at some point over two decades ago he was a part of a thing which was notable enough that his idea for this thing that lots of people have differing ideas about gained enough traction to get multiple implementations and a mention on a wikipedia page
