@aescling personal websites can in fact be better designed than corporate ones and i wish people wouldn't always romanticize them as worse?

@Satsuma i was trying to explain the custom of baking children into cakes to my jewish girlfriend and thankfully wikipedia had this photo

I've been an admin and moderator for chaos.social for nearly five years now (😱). A good enough reason as any to reflect on the Good/Bad/Ugly aspects of community management.
@Satsuma that's fair but i wouldn't call KJV the English version of X source either
generally speaking when you translate the bible it stops being the same version of the bible

@aescling we could get rid of this but it would mean a merge conflict every time upstream updated their settings
@aescling the merge must have changed the CI setup, which if we used CI would have modified our workflow
we DON'T use CI but upstream does so the workflow is there even though it is inactive
