@coriander to be clear i think the remaining 10% is important and sometimes essential work, keeping the internet running for example is good, but it’s also not where the money is
the money is in convincing some billionaire that hiring a thousand people to build a website nobody wants or needs is a good idea
@coriander problem with tech is that it’s working class, but also a grift. 90% of it is conning rich people into paying lots of money for magic words that do nothing. and it’s hard to get people to take seriously that yes, we should keep conning rich people out of their money, but as a unionized workforce this time
