i am very uninterested in the dude i have to work with here in the beginning i want to dump him

i am disappointed that it only has dialogue options for "sweet angel" and "transparent villain" and not "apathetic self-interested asshole"

anyway i picked up kotor and am playing it for the first time

nintendo has also started doing this which is the only reason i care

anyway the goal of activision blizzard isn't to tell interesting stories or make good art but to produce highly-optimized fandom bait which manages to target as broad of an audience as possible with as little investment necessary from the relevant team, i just personally find it to be a repugnant approach to storytelling is all

like this would only work IN THEORY if you then went and hired writers whose identities at least somewhat matched the identities you defined
