baffling piece of TV media

i learned this from the official steven universe facebook page which evidently also thinks this (?)

today i learned, bafflingly, that many steven universe fans think that pink diamond is the main villain of the show

google might be controlling the entire web through highly illegal means, partnering with both facebook and microsoft to weaken user privacy and control, but at least they didn't introduce proprietary unserviceable hardware

nobody using Ruby/Rails for YAML processing necessarily understands (even from looking up Psych!) that they are effectively using an experimental processor (for example, its support of YAML 1.2 is piecemeal and incomplete), which defeats the whole point of semantic versioning

@Satsuma Psych, the YAML parser and emitter in Ruby, used for extremely important functionality in Ruby/Rails, is currently version 4.0.2.

Psych is essentially a wrapper for LibYAML.

The current release of LibYAML 0.2.5. The fact that the major version number of LibYAML is “0” implies that it is not a stable API or ready for production use.

hey ass hole, don’t release your library as version 3.0.0 when it has core functionality dependent on a version 0.2.5; that’s not stable
