I used speaking with animals with Wyll to talk to the oxen in emerald grove before I added Karlach to my party. THEN i meet the oxen again in that safe spot in the shadow area and talk to him with Karlach, and one of the oxen says it remembers me from the grove! But that doesn't make sense! It's a plot hole! the single best thing about baldur's gate 3 is that playing your instrument costs no resources during battle so you can run into a boss's face and hit him with your strongest attack and then start playing the bongos. right there. right in their face. without any penalty. it's great
