@lapis @coriander Dune is about 188k words, and the average adult reads at a rate of 238 wpm, meaning Dune should take 13 hours to read. However, I am a slow reader and Dune forced me to reread many sections multiple times to understand what was happening so I will very conservatively add three additional hours to that estimation.

Space Dandy as a series is 8 hours long so you actually have to watch it twice.
