Honestly I like all the pre-BOTW 3D zeldas that I've completed about the same. I don't really have a strong favorite they're all good

@Lucy I played TP quite a while after it released and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it given the criticism it was receiving at the time

@Lucy From what I recall the reception to the game has been cyclical. It was initially very well received and then heavily critiqued, and from what I can gather in the past five-ish years its getting a more appreciation again

I know for sure I am correct about this because I remember GameSpot's 8.8/10 for the game being a genuine controversy amongst certain gamer types lmfao

@holly whats some good music you've been enjoying lately

sadly I was quite disappointed with Nosferatu 2024

@vaporeon_ I don't have strong feelings on the matter myself. But the beautiful thing about coding conventions is that you can ignore them and do whatever you want

@vaporeon_ these days developers tend to prefer clarity over brevity. it's very normal to write extra code if the programmer thinks it is easier to understand that way

@coriander this pun is so dumb that it made me decide to go to bed, thanks

@vaporeon_ I am doing a teeny bit of DevOps shit for my blog's build pipeline, so yeah it's not like you should avoid it entirely

@vaporeon_ complicated DevOps configurations are worth doing in large software teams but it is often overengineering to do so on a personal project

@vaporeon_ DevOps is good and important but I personally dislike managing it.

It's easiest to describe DevOps through example. It's when you do things like have gitlab run a test suite when you push to a certain branch
