@monorail @vaporeon_ nothing to be ashamed of, large one. its just weird, thats all
@monorail @vaporeon_ damn you are a child
Thinking about the time I asked @aescling to like one of my posts because it had 9 favorites and I really wanted 10 and she responded "only if I enjoy the post"
@Breakfast this is neat but I regret to inform you that it is not yet Friday
@vaporeon_ @monorail I've been able to find local coffee shops near my parents house that do this. Nowadays I own a coffee grinder and a certain time of container for brewing coffee so I just do it myself
So I would recommend looking up places near you and seeing what you can find
If you want to do it at home. a chemex, hand grinder, and coffee filters can be acquired for probably something around $70 US dollars. Over here a 14oz bag of coffee beans goes for about $15-25 dollars depending on quality (the real premium shit can easily exceed $40 dollars but I don't ever do it. Yet.)
@monorail @vaporeon_ have you ever had coffee from whole coffee beans that were freshly ground the moment before you brew it?
@monorail i wish you could pin someone else's toot to your profile
@monorail congratulations, you have been added to my bio
@monorail $7 luxe box my beloved
@monorail @vaporeon_ a very large child
re: COVID, complaining
The worst part is that, when my dad got covid, it was before my younger brother's high school graduation party. My dad had a brother who was sick and he knowingly spent the night before the party with this brother and then helped prepare food for the next morning.
Another family friend also showed up who unknowingly had covid. Obviously there was a covid breakout in our entire family.
re: COVID, complaining
My cousin who was a covid denier and also got covid has been having breathing problems for the past few years and can no longer perform karaoke, one of his favorite activities, something that has devastated him
re: COVID, complaining
Like, Chris Christie was a covid denier and then he went to the hospital for ten days and then walked it back. What more proof do you want? Are you so prideful that you would willingly sacrifice your own quality of life instead of challenging your conservative beliefs?
COVID, complaining
I wonder how my Dad, who got covid and then went to the hospital for 2 weeks and returned with oxygen and a wheelchair that he had to use for 6 months (eating became very difficult for him and sometimes he would undergo violent coughing fits when eating) and still feels physically weaker to this day, and my Mom, whose sense of taste permanently changed making her occasionally taste reasonably salted dishes as vastly oversalted and finding sour cream and other types of dairy intolerable and now will randomly experience an overwhelming smell of onions for a few minutes, manage to still believe that covid was a hoax
