re: Advent of Code Day 1, Part 1 spoiler

@vaporeon_ reported for lies

re: Advent of Code Day 1, Part 1 spoiler

@vaporeon_ oh i didn't read it right

uh, you might be right? although the inputs the question give you have turns greater than 100 if im not mistaken, so maybe this wouldn't work

re: Advent of Code Day 1, Part 1 spoiler

@vaporeon_ in javascript the negative numbers do result in negative results with the % operator because the language is bad

re: Advent of Code, day 1, part 2, spoilers

@vaporeon_ that edge case got me too! but something else was wrong after i accounted for it and i gave up haha

@coriander blockable behavior, but then i wouldnt see bumbleposting

re: Advent of Code, day 1, part 2

@vaporeon_ also good morning

re: Advent of Code, day 1, part 2

@vaporeon_ i didn't end up getting a working solution for part 2, good job!

@coriander i should report you for "pupdate" but it is cancelled by the yukonpost

What joy to be so loved by a cat that they snuggle next to you facing away

@aescling @monorail @The_T the easiest way for marth to dodge it would be to directional air dodge, something that will kill the marth. otherwise the marth is betting that they know the timing on when the falcon and approach and swinging on that. i really think the upb was a solid option for the situation, although an ordinary arial might have been just as effective with less risk

It is absolutely disgusting as a society that we waste perfectly good cookie dough by turning it into cookies

I am normal and can be trusted with raw cookie dough

advent of clod "spoiler"

@aescling @vaporeon_

console.log(
"solution:",
Deno.readTextFileSync("day-03-q1-input.txt").split("\r\n").reduce((a, s) => {
for (var d = new Array(12).fill(-1), m = { "-1": -1 }, i = 0; i < 12; ++i) for (let j = m[i - 1] + 1; j < s.length - 11 + i; ++j) if (+s[j] > d[i]) d[i] = +s[m[i] = j];
return a + d.reduce((sum, n, i, a) => sum + 10 ** (a.length - 1 - i) * n, 0);
}, 0));

despite what you may suspect from the double for loop, this runs in O(n) time

@holly cool im gonna forward you a report, since you lied

hi @vaporeon_ wanna see Advent of Clod code so golfed that its not even a spoiler?
