• boost!sonic is a strange choice as the base mechanics for an open world game; they really have their work cut out for them here
• the base mechanics look like they feel really good
• level design as actually shown in the trailer is boring
• bizarro logic with floating rails everywhere and whatever looks jarring in a naturalistic setting
• the trees look very nice

it’s a bad sign if even the day stages feel awkward and unforgiving

the controls for this game are really awkward and it’s very off-putting. you have to be willing to really wrestle if you wanna find the fun in it

yes the game is already tedious but i must admit i am making it worse

last night i was starting to optimize the fun out of werehog stages and i just went to bed outright. trying to get as many points and as much experience as pawsible out of enemies is VERY TEDIOUS
