apropos of nothing, my opinions on (not reviews of) all the star wars movies
- i love the script but the direction is so bad it’s not interesting to watch
- actually begins really strong; the rest of the movie is mostly meh; dooku was almost really interesting
- after watching the previous two this is such a breath of fresh air; lucas can actually direct a movie apparently
- i loved this one as a kit; the direction is hard for me to appreciate these days
- Problematic Fave; a well exectued tragedy but holy shit is han shitty here
- takes a long while to get good but the climax really works here
- flip flops between being mediocre and quite well directied (rey’s introduction is particularly good); there is fun stuff
- my favorite by far: excellent as a capstone to star wars as a franchise; really should have been the ninth movie. very unfortunate that it sidelines the new characters and i understand why this disappointed a lot of people
- i really don’t remember this movie much and do not care to. kylo ren are a plural system
