Mutual Aid Request!
My girlfriend is a struggling artisan in BC working multiple part time jobs but struggling to make ends meet due to rising costs, insufficient wages, long covid, and disordered sleep. A postal strike is also affecting many small businesses like hers at this time of year, which they normally rely on to get them through the next few months. Anything to help keep her fed and housed so she can keep working and get through this slump would be so greatly appreciated.

long, begging for money on the internet again
as always i hate to do this, but our family has been hit by a bunch of major expenses in a row and is still without a car, which means over $100 in ubers every day for the main moneymaker to go to their job (there is Zero public transit here)
it's taking forever for my paycheck to come in due to various shenanigans (such as cashapp closing my account without notice when i tried to update my legal name) and even then it's not even close to enough to deal with everything, especially with medical expenses coming in due to insurance dragging their feet, and we need some liquid assets to do a down payment
basically all of my money has gone to government filing fees and food
