hi, im nepeta, im 25, im disabled and im the host of a plural traumagenic system. i currently live with my parents who are abusive in multiple ways, have traumatized me, and are currently actively masterminding me, which i worry will drive me into a psychotic episode as it has several times in the past. im desperately seeking housing of any kind as its started wearing on my physical health too (my heart rate has been 100-140 today, around 120 on average, and my resting is 70) as i feel so unsafe here. i have a monthly income of $850 from disability and can pay rent, although i cant drive. i live in new lenox, illinois and might be able to uber or at least save up to go anywhere in the chicagoland area or anywhere really, im so desperate to get out of here at this point, im so scared living here,, um additionally if u'd like u can donate to us, our paypal is spiderwebs21@gmail.com, our cashapp is $forgottenCatnip and our venmo is @nyaneppyy.

since my PC is out of commission atm and I need something to do until I have the time and spoons to troubleshoot, I wanna get back to crochet and hopefully learn now to knit too becuase I have a shit ton of yarn in storage. (also I'm mostly on my phone and I can't do searches well atm :/)
does anyone have any beginner friendly books on teaching basics for knitting (and crochet since I need to derust). I prefer if any books or resources have images since Im a visual learner.
also I don't mind videos, BUT I rather have videos from any BIPoC. knitting and crochet is mostly dominated by white moms and I rather not watch another white mom, god please I beg.
