it ambles aimlessly until it just ends and i find that aspect of it unsatisfying

the most frustrating thing for me about sonic mania is that it has probably the most accessibly fun level design of any of the 2D sonics but that the overall doesn’t really feel like it’s getting gradually more difficult the way the classics do
