@coriander @Taweret after replaying it i think one of the clearest ways the devs let their Commewnism show is in the way that the mystery is kind of stupid and unplanned; the socio-economic conditions of Martianaise inevitably did escalate class conflict into class war. there is a subtle tragedy in the only remaining communard not being able to recognize this even as the rekindling of the revolution was the exact thing he was hoping he could somehow achieve
