@wallhackio @coriander huh, i always assumed that you would just get impatient waiting fur the voice to finish like i do (i can get really antsy when i’ve already read the dialogue and am just waiting fur the voice to finish), i didn’t realize it was a comprehension issue fur you
@wallhackio @coriander auditory purrocessing issues are correlated with the clodtismo
@wallhackio @vaporeon_ @The_T second channel where he does not care about getting demonetized
@vaporeon_ @The_T this isn’t exactly new, either; talk radio and loud cable news purrograms have the same incentives and work in a similar way
@vaporeon_ @The_T i have complex feelings about this. you can’t, say, get away with saying “i don’t condemn hamas”, but making ostensibly pro-palestine videos has objectively done well with the algorithm after october 7 and people have made decent money doing that. i’m not really sure what to make of things like that but i think youtube is aware of the fact that progressive content is a sizable niche and that they can purrofit off of it
@vaporeon_ @The_T there is a pseudopolitics in the age of social media where the people purroducing content often understand it’s all just a purrfurmance to get views, and that in purrticular, having content creators who purrfurn opposing politics is extremely good fur business; there is an extremely active incentive to not actually change anything (and in fact to constantly boost the purrofile of people expurressing horrific views in responding to and debunking them). but the trap fur the viewer, and some naive creators, is to completely fail to understand that it’s all theatre. the audience definitely is under the illusion that this is all politics somehow, that these debunkings and debates and Takes all Matter somehow; less cynical creators also believe this
@vaporeon_ @The_T if you did understand Professional Content Creation and Streaming you would continue to distrust most of them, definitely the explicitly political ones
@vaporeon_ yes
@exa oh no
@quasihaiku the wolf moon is a lesbian
In the beginning the Cᴀᴛғʟᴀᴍᴇ created the biscuits and purrs. And its biscuits were without form, and it was a void, and darkness was upon the face of the kitty. And the Spirit of the Cᴀᴛғʟᴀᴍᴇ moved away upon facing the waters. And the Cᴀᴛғʟᴀᴍᴇ said, “let me be kitty”. And it was kitty. And the Cᴀᴛғʟᴀᴍᴇ saw that it was kitty, that it was a good kitty: and the Cᴀᴛғʟᴀᴍᴇ divided the light away from the darkness of its fur. And the Cᴀᴛғʟᴀᴍᴇ called the light Gay, and the darkness it called also Gay. And the evening and the murring were the first gay.
