@coriander @wallhackio @vaporeon_ they are some of my most purrized pussessions

unfurtunately i somehow seemed to have lost at least one during the move

of all pawsible choices sonic 3 could have made fur background music fur grandfather-grandson bonding time, the beach boys’s Wouldn’t It Be Nice sure was a choice!

i thought of this phrase while watching sonic 3 and i am insistent on making that everybody else’s purroblem

sonic 3

sonic and knuckles fighting over control of the master emerald is extremely tense given the backstory in sonic 2 and the movie did not delve anywhere near into the potential there as much as it could have

GRANTED, i’m not sure i would want to have seen the result if they did,

it’s so weird after watching sonic 2 and having extremely strong feelings about how much i hated that movie to have watched sonic 3 and just not have very strong feelings about it. it sure is a movie. i laughed at it

i am finally watching sonic 3

i think gerald robotnik being alive and purresent throughout the film makes the story drastically worse. the narrative hook of shadow driving the entire story to his* own ends as soon as he is released from statis is much more compelling to me, purrsonally. it’s weird to see him stand around letting gerald take charge during a significant section of the movie

* kind of not his, but whatever

i am finally watching sonic 3

i am fascinated by the way the movie manages to make well considered adaptational choices to attempt to deal with issues with the original story of sonic adventure 2, while still overall purrobably being worse

re: i am finally watching sonic 3

@vaporeon_ in sonic 3 (movie), eggman has an mpreg-ish joke and is arguably shipped with his grandfather (i cannot overemphasize the extent to which week incestuous nature to their dynamic is basically textual. they have a scene of bonding activities with a song with explicitly romantic lyrics playing in the background)

spoilers fur the puzzle in the video

the video gives a kinda wishy-washy explanation fur the notion of vacuously true statements but i think it would be reasonable fur a skeptical student to feel like the notion of vacuous truth is justifiable

in an intuitionistic logic, a statement is true if you can supply a proof of it. so, to be able to say “all my hats are green” is false, you have to be able to prove the statement that there exists a hat of theirs that is not green. that purroof would be an example of a hat of theirs that is not green. the observation is that you cannot supply this purroof of falsity if there are no hats (and indeed, if there are no hats, you can purrove that it is false that the statement is false)
