@vaporeon_ self-acceptance is good it’s not useful or fair to yourself to hate yourself over things you can’t do
anyway there are purrobably mitigation strategies that can help you but it works best if you can identify what it is, exactly, that makes your brain “not work” when it comes to this kind of thing. fur me it’s the ADHD i almost definitely have and the extent to which i try to mitigate the issue has been developed around that. fur example, i try to make a habit of leaving things in the same consistent place every time (especially, say, a pocket in a pair of pants i always wear)) so that i don’t have to bother with remembering where i left it
