long, Jortage expense report (Nov/Dec 2023)
Fastly (CDN): $0.00 ($0.00/mo, ±$0.00)
Wasabi (old storage/backups): $416.54 ($208.27/mo, +$22.27)
OVH (hosting): $219.98 ($109.99/mo, ±$0.00)
UptimeRobot (monitoring): $16.00 ($8.00/mo, ±$0.00)'
Backblaze (storage/backups): $346.11 ($173.05/mo, +$32.52)
Subtotal: $998.63 ($499.31/mo, +$54.78)
Contributions: $495.30 ($194.45/mo active recurring, +$6.79)
Total (out of pocket): $503.33 ($304.86/mo based on active recurring, +$47.99)
Projected subtotal post-Wasabi migration: $291.04/mo (-$208.27)
Projected total out of pocket: $96.59/mo (+$25.73)
Wasabi is going to continue to charge "deleted storage" until some time in February.
This migration spurred by the Wasabi price hike has been a pretty serious drain on my finances — I'm an open source dev and service host by trade and do not have a well-paying stable tech job to offset it like the stereotype.
Please consider pitching in to help cover Jortage expenses!
