as a COMPONENT OF A VIDEO GAME it does not work well
as a COMPONENT OF THE GAME’S STORYTELLING it is actively detrimental at times
but as an OVERALL COHESIVE VIDEO GAME SOUNDTRACK: it’s just not.
the most frustrating aspect of sonic frontiers’s soundtrack is how much of it, in isolation, goes really hard
i am in awe in that this game just lets you mount Satori
