the fact that sakurai has put so much effort into this game design channel really feels like an implicit declaration that he’s moving on from game dev

the irony of sakurai talking about how fighting games can often lead to one player just staring at the screen getting comboed in his video about the original super smash bros., whose combo game has developed into something truly obnoxious at this point
