obviously once e2ee lands that won’t even pawsibly be implementable in such a client

i remember a long time ago trying a masto client that used no js at all, which is a fun experiment

the mutuals with mastoadmins and -mods to becoming meowstoadmin or -mod pipeline

https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/18301 oh i ran into this bug the other day

@compufox oh!!! fox!!

@gayocats baby

the kinds of bugs that get found in mastodon after over six years of continuous usage never ceases to worry me

https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/18211 lol

@Lady true

if you have fulltext search and wanna do a facepawb, try running searches for https://example.org test and then test https://example.org

is it even progressive to be decent to the gays in the US in 2022. that’s just, like, expected

the fact that the bar for progressivism here was “being decent to the gays” just makes the statement more strange

saw a reddit comment recently saying “that’s not leftist, that’s progressive” and i’ve been thinking about that a lot

@starfall for sure

staying that up to date is literally not a project goal for Kibicat Mastodon

having to remember things occasionally breaking without warning when we merged from glitch as mastodon was making its way to 3.5.0 before the formal release because glitch/mastodon main have interesting things happening and i need to be p a t i e n t

@starfall ngl i expect to find the permanent warning annoying; wish that were just an onboarding/first-time thing

@gayocats catball

is it still not pawsible to force a preferred color scheme when privacy.resistFingerprinting in enabled
