æʃliŋ, loaf of autismo @aescling@cat.family

do i remember correctly that masto federation looks up accounts by acct instead of by the numerical id

@netkitty tyvm, mew 💛🤎🖤

@hourlyfoxbot pretty

i am actually running a qmail fork in production in 2021

@Lady i meant like, later though

@Lady i see

@Lady you already got enough shit to do here as it is lol

@Lady just remember, we said we weren’t gonna burn ourselves out over this thing

@Lady ah! ty

yeah i could just use pinafore still but i want to actually use local only posts and such

pinafore lets you turn that off and i miss that

have i missed something, or can you not turn off the notification count on the bell in the little navigation menu in the masto front end

@Lady yeah given your history i’m a little worried seeing how you’ve just been jumping into this

@hourlyfoxbot they’re dating

@Lady i really don't know why i didn't think of that lol

i'm still paranoid tho

anyway i finally did the obvious feature where if i have headers for a particular domain and override headers for a particular resource, non-overriden headers from the domain are still used

k i just updated my webserver which happens to be redirecting webfinger (after Actual Proper Testing in a separated environment, for once), so, as the tech cat here, lmk if federation herefrom or -to is broken somehow
