@vaporeon_ i’ve only seen the furst hotel transylvania and was not much of a fan but i’ve always been confused about it because it just does not remotely feel like his directorial style at all. his work is usually fairly slowly paced in a way that evokes, like, westerns or samurai films. like his sense of timing really, really, really stands out from the norm in children’s cartoons
