have seen defenses of the knuckles portrayal in sonic 2 on the grounds that being a goofy little fish out of water is kind of knuckles’s Thing and while i agree they also made sonic a goofy little fish out of water who was adopted into a Tribe as a kid and they didn’t make him go around preaching about Honor and Strength and shit like he’s fucking Doomfist
